Italian pizzeria and trattoria in Streatham Hill. Boasting a wood fired pizza oven and a menu of traditional Italian dishes that changes weekly.
Now with two restaurants in Streatham, this is very popular with local parents. Offers sourdough pizzas cooked in a traditional wood fired oven. Their desserts are pretty tasty too. Lots of high chairs and kid-size pizza options.

A quirky Spanish cafe near Streatham Station. Very welcoming with some space for buggies. Delicious coffee and their speciality “Nata” cakes are to die for! High chairs but no baby change.

One of the newest additions to Streatham High Street, offering a bespoke blend espresso, pastries, cakes, sourdough toasties and simple breakfast and lunch options.
Boyce da Roca
A boutique cafe where the food is delicious and if you like their tables, chairs, cups, plates or cutlery… you can buy them too! There are pavement tables, highchairs and changing facilities.
Leigham Hall Parade, Streatham High Rd, SW16 1DR
A new generation of Neapolitan sourdough pizza in south London with wood oven baked Pizza. Locals rave about how authentic the food is and how friendly they are. A tight squeeze with a buggy, so might be better with a sling, but the pizza is definitely worth it.
Brooks and Gao
Small cafe towards Streatham Hill. Limited room for buggies inside and no baby changing facilities, but amazing coffee and cakes if you’re prepared to take your baby in a sling.

Spacious pub offering a modern British menu and an all year round BBQ from its outside Burger Shack.
Estate Office Coffee
A small brand new coffee shop opposite Streatham Hill Station. No seating, but plenty of room to get the pram in and out of the shop for a good take away coffee. Sandwiches made with Elephant Bakehouse Bread and cakes from Deelight in Balham. Keep a eye on their twitter account for offers.
Restaurant with a very cool, modern finish. Sister to Exhibit in Balham. They have high chairs, changing table, lots of space for buggies and a mesmerising fish tank. Dark room for hire for baby classes etc

Small cafe with freshly made assortment of food. Plenty of room for prams. Added bonus of being able to paint pottery and make baby keep sakes. High chairs available.

Recently expanded into the shop next door. Has a space to hire downstairs. More of a cocktail bar / restaurant in the evening, but has a children’s menu during the day.
The Hideaway Jazz Café
Live jazz and comedy venue with a pavement side café at the front on the High Road. Popular hang out for local mums with comfy sofas, good coffee and a selection of nice food. No changing facilities but plenty of buggy space.
The Manor Arms
A modern pub with a wide range of cask ales and decent food with a kid’s menu and an abundance of high chairs and space for buggies. Baby classes have been held here since April 2018 – and they’re possibly keen for more.
The Nightingale Cafe
A small cafe near Lidl. Gets very positive reviews for its coffee and chocolate cake – not great for babies or buggies due to size.

Nostro (I Love Coffee)
The team at Nostro roast & blend their own unique coffee and make croissants & sandwiches fresh every morning. The coffee is very good and there’s room for pushchairs, plus baby changing facilities.

Pratts and Payne
A pub named after the two most memorable landmarks from Streathams past; the now sadly destroyed Pratts department store and recently deceased madam Cynthia Payne. Very spacious with a garden out the back for the summer months. Very popular for Sunday lunch. Plenty of board games on offer and high chairs.
The Rabbit Hole (formerly the Greyhound)
This is under new management and had undergone a complete transformation in to a seriously family friendly pub during the day. It offers a children’s menu, high chairs, a large chest of toys and in summer the garden becomes a playground with slides, wendy houses and push-along bikes to keep little ones happy while you have a drink. (Baby change available in the disabled toilet near the entrance, ask for the key at the bar).

The Railway pub & Tea Room
Has really nice child-friendly back room with access to the garden, as well as an off-shoot of Streatham Library where you can actually take out books. Plenty of high chairs to go around and changing facilities.
The Rookery Cafe
Under new management, this cafe at the top of Streatham Common has undergone complete refurbishment. It has high chairs, a toddler friendly menu and even friendlier staff. Their cakes are amazing and dogs are also welcome, handy if your family includes a four-legged member! Baby changing facilities in the public toilets behind the cafe.
